Wilko has donated £500 worth of products to St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester.

Products from the retailers new store at Cathedral Square in Worcester were given to the hospice, which opened its doors in 1984 and offers a range of care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across the county.

The donation featured a variety of bed linen and bathroom towels from the Wilko home range, to update the bedrooms at the hospice.

Dana Read, Wilko Worcester branch manager, said: “We were delighted to donate products to St Richard’s Hospice. Supporting our local community is important to us, and the staff work hard to make the residents’ experience as comfortable as possible.”

June Patel, chief executive at St Richard’s Hospice said “We are really appreciative of this generous donation from Wilko. The linen not only looks extremely smart, it helps, through the colour palette, emphasise the serene and calming environment we try hard to create”
