WHERE can you catch up with one of the West Country’s leading mixed-voice choirs without shelling out for a ticket?

The answer is St Michael and All Angels Parish Church in Ledbury, where the famous The Bath Chorus, founded by Grenville Jones eight years ago, is set to give a concert.

A spokesman said: “Since then it has established a reputation at performances around the UK. The concert will feature well-known Christmas pieces from John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Philip Stopford and others, there will be audience carols and guest readers including the deputy Mayor of Ledbur

“Grenville Jones enjoys the reputation as being one of the UK’s leading choir conductors. He has appeared on radio and television across the world through his many musical interests and as founder of the charity Golden-Oldies.”

Grenville said: “We are all looking forward to the concert at St Michael and All Angels. I have chosen a programme of beautiful Christmas music and look forward greatly to the evening.”

The date for the diary is Saturday December 16, from 7.30pm.

This is a free admission concert, albeit with a retiring collection.
