A car was left damaged in Croft Road, Worcester after a crash with a bollard.
A car was seen by Worcester News readers with the front end ripped off, with a police notice advising that it should not be driven.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Police were called to a report of a white Hyundai colliding with a bollard on Croft Road, Worcester, around 7.25pm yesterday (3 December).
"Officers attended but there are no reports of any injury to the driver.
"The council have been notified of the damage to the bollard."
He said recovery should be arranged by the registered keeper.
A Worcestershire County Council spokesman said that West Mercia Police were responsible for dealing with the car.
