PEOPLE crossing the river Severn using the Sabrina footbridge will have seem workmen from Worcester County council restoring the bridge's decking.
The work was being carried out to replace planks that has weathered over the years since the bridge was built.
The council's cabinet member with responsibility for highways, coun Alan Amos, said: "We can confirm that routine minor maintenance is taking place on Sabrina Bridge this week, to replace some sections where damage has been identified.
"There will be no closure of the bridge whilst the works are taking place but we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
