WORCESTER Cathedral must be one of the most well-known landmarks in the city - if not THE most recognisable.

We've probably all taken a picture of it ourselves and seen hundreds of others.

So we felt it was the perfect backdrop for our Camera Club challenge.

We asked the members of the Worcester News Camera Club to show us a new or different way of looking at the historic Cathedral.

We received more than 70 pictures all showing a unique view of the iconic building.

Picture editor Jonathan Barry has shortlisted these 12 as his favourites and chose Rebecca Probert's unusual view of the Cathedral through a window.

He also picked out Eva Mevinsky's striking stained glass picture and Roger King's clever use of reflections for a special runners-up mention.

Thank you to all of those Camera Club members who took part.

Now, it's time to set a new challenge for December and we've opted for a festive one entitled Christmas Lights.

Photographers can interpret the theme however they wish - and either post entries to our Worcester News Camera Club Facebook page or email them to photo@worcesternews.co.uk

We can't wait to see your pictures.
