A WORCESTER electronics shop was targeted by Christmas raiders who were said to have stolen about £25K worth of computer products in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Currys in Blackpole Retail Park, Blackpole Road, was struck by thieves at about 12.40am on Saturday, December 9.

West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Police were called to a premises at Blackpole Retail Park in Worcester at around 12.40am on Saturday following an alarm activation.

"Unknown offender or offenders are believed to have forced entry to the premises on Blackpole Road. A number of electrical items were removed but there are no further details at this time.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing and officers would like anyone who was in the area or who witnessed people acting suspiciously at the time to come forward."
