TEENAGE singer and actor Kit Windows-Yule is to hold his first solo show.
Kit, of Arboretum, Worcester, is well known for his successful leading roles with Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society's Youth Section (WODYS), including Jean Valjean in Les Misérables (School Edition) and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, and earlier this year he starred in the open air production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Commandery.
The 18-year-old is now preparing to fly solo at Huntingdon Hall with a lunchtime classical concert on Wednesday, August 22 at 1pm.
The programme will include songs by Schubert, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Vaughan Williams, and Kit will be accompanied on the piano by Philip Bellamy.
From Tuesday, Kit is playing Pooh Bah in WODYS' production of Hot Mikado at the Swan Theatre. Tickets for this and his lunchtime concert can be booked through Worcester Live box office on 01905 611427.
