A PAIR of drunk cyclists wearing Santa hats were caught on the motorway today.
Officers escorted them off the M5 northbound carriageway after they were spotted between junction six, in Worcester, and junction five.
The Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) described the incident as 'unbelievable' and said the cyclists were lucky that officers arrived before a crash took place.
The CMPG is now dealing with the two individuals.
It might be Christmas but you still can't cycle on a motorway, currently dealing with two cyclists wearing 🎅 hats on #M5 maybe next Christmas they could ask for some common sense #unbelievable pic.twitter.com/KKoA2RNfDS
