THE Bishop of Worcester remarried in front of close friends and family last Friday.

The Bishop, the Right Reverend Dr John Inge, married H-J Colston at St Katherine's Church in Holt, near Bath, on Friday.

The pair were engaged last October but have known each other for 20 years.

At the ceremony was the Bishop of Dudley, the Right Reverend Graham Usher, who said: “It was wonderful and a sheer delight to share in Bishop John and H-J’s wedding with its rich theme of the love that has been kindled between them mirroring something of the love of God in Jesus.

"Family and friends of Bishop John were overjoyed that after the death of his first wife, Denise, he has found love and joy again.”

We previously reported how Denise Inge lost her battle with cancer on Easter day in April 2014, aged just 51 and leaving behind two children.

Her funeral was held at Worcester Cathedral in May 2014.

When the Bishop's engagement to H-J was announced, he said: “to have found love again is a most wonderful thing and I feel immensely blessed.”

The Bishop has two daughters Eleanor and Olivia while H-J has two sons Luke and Toby.

A statement released by the Diocese of Worcester said she will now live between Worcester and Bradford-on-Avon, where her boys are at school with her elder son currently in his GCSE year.
