A WOMAN was rescued from a fire at a house in Badsey Road, Evesham, this morning.
Fire fighters from the town's station responded to the call that came in at 11.40am, and crews from Broadway and Pebworth also attended.
The woman was rescued from upstairs and had oxygen therapy administered by fire fighters before ambulance crews arrived.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that a woman in her 30s was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, suffering from mild smoke inhalation.
