HIGH street fashion brand Oasis is set to open its first ever standalone store in Worcester.

House of Oasis will be opening at the Crowngate shopping centre in March, taking up residence in the old home of clothing store Gerry Weber, which closed last month.

Housed over 1,480 square feet on Chapel Walk, the new store will carry womenswear and accessories.

Erica Burlace, Crowngate centre manager, said: “This is a really exciting time for us, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to announce Oasis will be joining us in just a few weeks’ time.

“Our fashion-focused shoppers are already looking forward to getting their hands on the latest styles.

“Following the excitement of our 25th birthday last year, I am delighted that we are attracting leading UK retailers to the city and that we continue to be the home of one-of-a-kind independents.”

She said the blend of big names and boutique brands is what makes Worcester so unique.

Rachel Gilbert, Global Retail director, said: “As part of Oasis’ extensive, multi-million-pound store investment we are delighted to be launching our ‘House of Oasis’ concept store in Worcester and are looking forward to spreading colour, print and happiness to the shoppers of Crowngate.”
