A DROITWICH man has been handed a conditional discharge for possession of a lock knife.
Dominic Ebanks, 26, of Woodmans Rise, admitted possessing a knife in a public place when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court earlier today.
Prosecuting Leslie Ashton said Ebanks came to the attention of police when they attended a disturbance at Hunters Close. She said Ebanks told police he kept the knife in a tupperware box in his bag, showing it them.
Defending, Shaun Newey said the father-of-two had not brandished the knife, and it was not used in dangerous circumstances. Magistrates gave Ebanks a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered him to pay costs of £135, and a £20 victim surcharge.
