FAMILIES can get their hands on archaeological objects found in Worcestershire during a workshop next week.
The Hands on History event is taking place on Monday, February 19 at the Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service within the children's library at The Hive.
The free workshop forms part of the Love Worcestershire Heritage Festival, with events running during half-term.
Nina O'Hare, community archaeologist in Worcestershire, said: "This is a great opportunity for children and parents to come and have a go at being an archaeologist and handle objects and guess what they are."
The drop-in session runs from 10am to 3pm.
