A WOMAN was assessed by paramedics following a fire in a boiler cupboard in Strensham near Worcester.
Emergency services were called to the blaze off Hill View Road, at about 11.17am this morning (Saturday, March 3).
West Midlands Ambulance Service checked over the woman and she was discharged at the scene.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Upton-upon-Severn and Pershore used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one covering jet and CO2 extinguisher to put out the blaze.
Firefighters also isolated the electrics.
Tweeting from HWFireControl, a spokesman said: "Fire in boiler cupboard extinguished by HWFireUpton HWFirePershore crews using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one covering jet and CO2 extinguisher. Electrics isolated. One female checked by OFFICIALWMAS and discharged at scene."
