TRIBUTES have been paid to a 33-year-old woman who went missing from Worcester and was found dead.

Charlotte Teeling, known as Charl, was last seen on Thursday (February 22) leaving the Worcester area and possibly travelling by train to Birmingham.

Police found the 33-year-old's body inside a house in Cooksey Lane, Kingstanding at 9.50pm on Friday, March 2.

Paying tribute to Ms Teeling on Facebook, her brother, Thomas Farrell said: "We can put an end to not knowing now.

"R.I.P Charl Tee I love you beautiful big sis. Broken is an understatement.

"Thank you so much for all the messages and everyone who's helped during this agonising wait. Means the world to me and my family.

"Thank you all so much. Love you all."

As part of enquiries to trace Ms Teeling, who was reported missing to West Mercia Police on Monday, February 26, officers were led to an address in Coventry in the early hours of Saturday morning where a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

He remains in police custody for questioning.

Floral tributes have been left outside the house in Kingstanding.

West Midlands Police Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the homicide unit, said: "Our detectives are reviewing CCTV in the Cooksey Lane area and making efforts to identify witnesses.

"Another man was initially arrested at the scene but he has since been released without charge and is not being treated as a suspect.

"If anyone has any information on Charlotte’s movements since 22 February, which is when she was last seen, or has any information that could help our investigation then I would ask them to get in touch straight away."
