THE Met Office's warning for snow remains in place today, but it appears the city will dodge heavy snow fall.
The yellow warning, that sleet and snow is expected for upland areas and some lower ground and there could be disruption to road, bus and train services, will be in place throughout today until 11pm tonight.
However the forecast is for any sleet and snow to clear late morning, with the rest of the day dry with sunny intervals.
The temperature will peak at 8C mid afternoon, before falling to 1C overnight and into Friday morning.
