THE final line up for this year’s comic-con event in Worcester has been announced.
Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill, who also stars in US smash hit Legend’s of Tomorrow, has been added to the line up. Organisers expect more than 2,000 comic lovers to attend the event being held at University of Worcester Arena on April 8.
Norman Lovett, Robert Llewellyn and Chloe Annett from Red Dwarf, Colin Baker and Katy Manning from Doctor Who, Rupert Young from Merlin, Jeremy Bulloch - who played Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy, Colin Nemec from Stargate SG-1, and John Challis, who played Boycie in Only Fools and Horses, will be attending. Rainbow Sun Francks from Stargate Atlantis has now been announced, while there will also be a number of artists appearing.
Among them will be Star Wars artist Marsha Parkins, who said: “Worcester is my home city so I am especially excited to attend as a guest artist this year.”
Event organiser Lee Wallis added: “We’ve certainly pulled out all the stops - it’s clear the city has some of the most passionate fans in the country.”
Tickets, which have gone on sale, start from £7 adults and £3 for children, and are available at worcester.em-con.co.uk.
