IF you have overindulged at Easter with a mountain of chocolate, Easter Monday is traditionally a day to get outside and walk it off.
The forecast may be a little iffy this year but if you are willing to take the chance, then here are five great walks:
1. Malvern Hills
The Malvern Hills divide the beautiful English countryside of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. A great destination for walkers of all ages and abilities. An area of rich cultural heritage, varied landscapes and diverse habitats and wildlife.
2. Croome Park, National Trust
Expect the unexpected at Croome. Great for walks and adventures with many surprises. At the heart of the park lies Croome Court. Once home to the Earls of Coventry with four floors to explore.
3. Worcester Woods Country Park
A huge open field. Two nature reserves. Busy countryside centre that occupies café facilities and an adventure playground. Easy access from city centre and the motorway. Picturesque and suitable for all.
4. Wyre Forest, Bewdley
The Wyre Forest and its surrounding woodlands are fantastic places to enjoy the fresh air and have fun outdoors. Something suitable for everyone throughout the year. Walking trails, play areas, Go Ape and picnic benches to name a few.
5. Hanbury Hall, Droitwich Spa
Discover the stunning country retreat in Worcestershire. Originally a stage set for summer parties. Offers a glimpse into life at the turn of the 18th century. Events, food and gift shop also located at the hall.
