MALVERN Rotarians will be at a DIY superstore in the town collecting tools for Africa.

The club is making the collection in support of the charity Tools For Self Reliance, which has been training, equipping and supporting people in six African countries since 1979.

The Rotary cart will be at the car park of B and Q in Spring Lane from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday, April 25, collecting old or unwanted hand tools, following a successful collection last year.

Anyone who can't make that date can leave tools at Bradfords Building Supplies in Pickersleigh Road, where a regular collection point is maintained.

Rotarian Jeremy Prideaux-Jackson said: "We are extremely grateful to B and Q, Bradfords and the general public for their continued support of this most worthwhile project which gives practical help to practical people in Africa."
