A BARBOURNE man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition after overdosing on drugs.

The 42-year-old man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Saturday, April 28 after he is thought to have taken a mixture of heroin and Xanax, a popular drug prescribed to treat anxiety disorders.

He remains in a serious condition.
