RESURFACING works on part of a Worcester road are set to take place tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 2).
A northbound closure on Castle Street is scheduled from 7pm.
The road will reopen in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, May 3.
A diversion will be in operation via Croft Road, slight left onto The Butts, turn left onto Foregate St/A38 and turn left back onto Castle Street.
Works will resurface the carriageway and some repairs will also being carried out in Infirmary Walk.
Jon Fraser, head of Worcestershire County Council highways, said the work is only set to take a few hours.
He added: "The road will be back open fully to traffic Thursday morning."
Carriageway surface dressing is also set to close Henwick Road, Worcester, for a few hours after the bank holiday weekend with more precise details to come.
