A BIKER in his 50s has been seriously injured in a crash with a car.
The man's red Honda motorbike collided with a brown Ford Mondeo on the A44, in Evesham, near Chadbury Farm Shop.
He suffered fractures in his legs and arms, abdominal pain and shock in the crash, which took place at around 11.25am on Monday, May 7.
A land ambulance reached the scene at 11.30am and rushed the biker to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, arriving at 1.06pm.
A Midlands Air Ambulance helicopter intercepted the patient at the Alexandra Hospital, in Redditch, and dropped off a doctor and a critical care paramedic.
The pair got into the land ambulance and treated the injured man for the remainder of the journey to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses to call 101 quoting incident number 244s of May 8.
