BIKERS in Bromsgrove are invited to attend a free 'Biker Down' course, teaching potentially life-saving skills.

The event has been organised in partnership with the Safer Roads Partnership, West Mercia Police, Hereford and Worcester Fire Service, Midlands Air Ambulance and the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Biker Down is a free three-hour course, featuring first-aid training and advice on what to do at the scene of a motorcycle collision.

The course is made up of three modules: Collision scene management, basic first aid and casualty care, including CPR and helmet removal, and advice on visibility and positioning.

The event will run from 10am to 1pm. Approximately 20 places are available and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Location details will be provided to attendees once their place is confirmed.
