A WORCESTER care home will be opening its doors for people to raise a toast to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Care UK’s Perry Manor care home is inviting people to a right royal knees up event today, which will have a live screening of the wedding.
The Charles Hasting Way-based home will be decorated with Union Jack bunting and residents will have their British flags at the royal-themed party.
There will be a live entertainment from singer Tony Minchella from 3pm, and guests will also be treated to a tasty buffet, specially prepared by Perry Manor’s chefs.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “It’s been a busy few years for the royals, with big birthdays, anniversaries and new additions to the family – conversations around the Queen and her children are never too far from our lips here at Perry Manor.
“We’re delighted to be able to bring out the bunting once again, this time to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
"We’re looking forward to commemorating the big day with the people of Worcester and raising a glass to the happy couple.”
