Dear Sirs
Further to Andy Hum's concerns in Worcester News Friday 25 May about the dangerous parking for residents living near Worcestershire Royal Hospital. I would like to draw attention to the equally dangerous parking top of Linksview Crescent. As per the photo
which shows only one side of the road is possible with no room for two cars to pass each other. It is ridiculous that the yellow line at the top of the road reaches the space of one car! It is made worse by the bus lane which you have to make sure no cars
are travelling along before you turn into Linksview Crescent from Newtown Road. This is an obstructed view from the cars coming along Newtown Road. The speed that some cars travel will eventually lead to a catastrophic accident if drivers are unaware of the
bus lane that cars use. This is perpetuated then into single line traffic into Linksview Crescent because of the line of parked cars. Please County Council at least follow the line down the road and around the corner to prevent dangerous parking. Residents
have spoken to me of the anger they feel at cars parked outside properties making it very difficult to come out of their drives. No councillor as far as I know came near the residents of Linksview when the elections were on. If they had done, I am sure the
residents of Linksview Crescent would have voiced their opinion on the yellow line at the top of the road which is of no use to us at all and makes it dangerous every time we leave our properties trying to manoeuvre out of the crescent on a daily basis.
