AS part of National Volunteers Week, Worcester Community Action is organising a volunteer fair.
The fair will take place on Friday June 1 at the Guildhall, High Street, Worcester from 11am until 3pm.
The event is open to anyone who is interested in finding out about volunteering and the different opportunities available.
Nearly 40 organisations are attending, from Age UK to Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and including the Red Cross, St Richard’s Hospice and Deaf Direct .
Sally Ellison, WCA Project Co-ordinator and organiser of the event said: "This is a really excellent opportunity for anyone who has ever thought about getting involved in volunteering but wasn’t sure what volunteering was available or what they could do.
"With so many organisations represented, as well as WCA having information from organisations who were not able to attend the event, everyone can get more information to help them get involved.
"As volunteers and volunteering are an important aspect of our community, the organisations at the Fair are all looking for more volunteers so hope to have a successful recruitment day. "
