EVESHAM played a joker competition for teams of two on lady captain Patsy Brumage's day.
Conryn Abbott and Jenny Masser won with 42 points from Angela Fletcher and Margaret Williams on 40 and Angela Budden and Marlene Billings on 39.
Each team had six jokers in sealed envelopes which could be opened at any hole before teeing off.
Contents included double your score at this hole, have a free putt and use a lifeline. A raffle raised £100.
Evesham men’s seniors held a strong Tewkesbury Park team 3-3 to end their opponents' 100 per cent record.
They have won their previous two home matches against Bransford and The Worcestershire.
There were wins for Martin Williams and Richard Saville, Dave Kewley and Ian Wood and Neil Croft and Mick Hocking.
Defeats were suffered by seniors captain Bill Dobie and Steve Deakin, John Vaughan and Doug Sharp and Malcolm Hiscock and Malcolm Carnall.
Meanwhile, Jim Knowles hit a hole-in-one as 82 players contested The Vale's summer challenge in glorious sunshine.
The close yellow tee strokeplay competition saw all five front-runners score 73 nett with the places decided on countback.
David Baglow won with Brian Summers second, Nick Yates third, Mike Roberts fourth and Bryn Keast fifth.
Knowles achieved his ace on the par-three third green.
Nearest the pin was won by Norman Cannock.
