A WORCESTERSHIRE chartered surveyors has appointed a new senior professional to its growing team.

Halls, of Kidderminster, recently appointed a new senior chartered surveyor, James McIntyre who joins the business and brings a wealth of specialist knowledge in rural practice work.

Mr McIntyre has worked in Worcestershire, as well as Shropshire and Herefordshire, since 2002.

Mr McIntyre said: "I have known and dealt with Halls since I first came to the area and to join as a senior chartered surveyor and auctioneer is very exciting."

Mr McIntyre is married with a six year son and during his 21 years of qualified experience he has experienced the extensive variety of issues that local farm and land owners require assistance with. Mr McIntyre will be offering assistance in areas such as rural practice, agricultural law, valuations for property, land and machinery, basic payment and environmental stewardship.

Mr McIntyre added: "I have extensive auction experience in a wide range of property, dispersal and collective sales. I enjoy getting out and meeting people who have wonderfully diverse and interesting businesses. Being involved in rural practice you never know what you will see next."
