A MAN who is stuck in Cambodia facing huge medical bills after being injured in a motorbike accident, is in good spirits.
Alan Richardson, 43 from Ronkswood, Worcester said: "I’m healing well and on the road to recovery."
Amongst his many injuries were a broken tibia and road rash. He has had his kneecap and second toe reattached, and had to have a toe amputated, as well as other medical treatment. He has a large scar on his leg.
A just giving page has been set up to help the DJ pay for his unpaid medical bills and his flight home. He has no money to pay for this as his savings have been used paying for medical treatment since the accident over two weeks ago. His insurance will not cover any of it as he was riding his motorbike without a licence when a driver pulled out in front of him.
"Just under £2000 has been raised so far. I’m really happy with the response."
Mr Richardson is hoping to raise £5,500.
"Things have slowed down now but I’m guessing that's normal"
