EVESHAM United were denied a home win over Hereford FC as Adam Hockey struck in injury-time to clinch a 1-1 draw at the Jubilee Stadium.

The Robins opened the scoring on 35 minutes when Ewen Dunbar’s effort hit the post and Corey Simpson tapped home the rebound.

Simpson almost doubled his side’s lead in the second period as he beat several defenders before pushing his shot wide.

Hereford also had their chances as ex-Evesham frontman Lance Smith’s 53rd minute volley whistled over the crossbar.

Evesham goalkeeper Harvey Rivers made a string of saves late on but Hockey found the net in the 91st minute to snatch a draw.

Kidderminster Harriers surrendered a half-time lead to lose 2-1 to League One side Burton at Aggborough.

Ed Williams put Harriers in front on 13 minutes when he brought the ball forward before sending it into the bottom corner with a low shot from outside the box.

But Burton hit back shortly after the break when substitute Joe Sbarra raced through after intercepting a pass and confidently finished.

The second half pressure from Burton told in the dying moments as Luke McCormick grabbed the winner with two minutes left.

A young Harriers side were sent crashing out of the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup following a 6-0 trouncing by Alvechurch.

Tom Turton was the pick of the scorers with a hat-trick as Church secured their place in the final.

Elsewhere, Richard Gregory scored the only goal as Bromsgrove beat Bilston 1-0 while Redditch United won by the same scoreline against Rugby Town.
