PUPILS, staff and parents of Dines Green Primary School were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Worcester to open their summer fete.
The school community turned out in numbers to support the event which included a fund raising stall run by a Year 5 pupil, Oliver Pelz, raising money for one of the Mayor's chosen charities - St Richard's Hospice.
Community is an important part of the school’s mission and the Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Jabba Riaz, said: “It was great to see so many parents turning out for the school fete and I am sure their support will lead to further success for the school.”
The fete took place on Friday, July 13.
