ROAD closures and speed limits will be in force next week as the M5 Sixways improvement work continues.

From Monday (August 13), lanes will be closed between 8pm and 6am and a 50mph speed limit reducing to 30mph will be in place.

Narrow lanes will be in place on the roundabout and all approaches, a barrier on the M5 and A4440 approaches will be in place.

A free recovery service on Highways England and Worcestershire County Council networks will be available.

As part of the improvements, the roundabout will be widened, as will the slip roads and all the approaches.

An extra lane will be added to the roundabout and signals will be put in place on the A449 and A4538 Pershore Lane south approaches.
