DODDERHILL Independent Girls School’s “outstanding” GSCE results were thanks to hard work of pupils and “dedication of our staff” says the head teacher.
Girls graduating from Crutch Lane school near Droitwich this year have produced an excellent set of GCSE results, said head Cate Mawston.
Pupils are now looking forward to moving on to some of Worcestershire's top Sixth Forms in the coming weeks.
“The girls at Dodderhill School continue to produce outstanding GCSE results year after year,” she continued.
Despite the reformed GCSE course being much tougher, the girls achieved 100 per cent passes in English GCSE and 91 per cent passed Maths.
Overall, 93 per cent of the pupils achieved five passes – including English, Maths and Science.
Ms Mawston said: “I am proud of all the girls’ achievements, which is a consequence of their hard work and the dedication of our teachers.
“Year on year our small class sizes, girls only environment and excellent teaching achieve strong results.”
