THE description of a man who tried to break into an address in Worcestershire has been released by police.

The man tried to break into the house in Blakenhurst, Harvington at around 8pm on Friday, September 14.

He was heard to shout the name of another person, but no-one else was seen.

Officers believe the man thought that the premises were empty and ran off when he realised that there were two occupants, one of whom returned after walking the dog. Nothing was taken in the incident.

The man is was white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of average build, with short-cropped hair and no noticeable accent. He was wearing faded denim jeans, a white shirt and black gloves.

"If he was seen by passers-by or local residents, he could have been in the company of a second man," said a police spokesman.

"Unfortunately we do not have a second description, so we are hoping that someone will remember seeing the man we know was at the address, remembers in which direction he was going and how he left the area - on foot or by what transport."
