DOGS attacked a flock of sheep in a field near Stourport, leaving three dead and two injured.

Police are appealing for help in tracking the dogs following the incident in a paddock in Astley Cross between Wednesday evening, on Wednesday, September 12, and the morning of Friday, September 14.

Three sheep were found dead with face and leg wounds and two were badly injured. The sheep, which were worth £75 each, were eight months old.

It may have happened at 10.30pm on Wednesday when dogs were heard barking.

At least two dogs are thought to be responsible, and their faces and bodies would have been covered in blood due to the nature of injuries to the sheep.
