RESIDENTS of a care home have had the pleasure of being visited by some talented youngsters.

Early year’s drama franchise, Debutots Worcester visited residents at Bupa's The Springs Care Home for a day of fun.

The drama group uses interactive activities to connect toddlers and pensioners, to create a joyful experience for all involved.

Activities included singing ‘Over the Rainbow’, that the residents enjoyed as this is a song that brought the residents back to their own youth.

Mary, a resident at The Springs said: “It’s nice to have the group visit every week. I couldn’t tell you who enjoys it more us or the children. It’s something I look forward to.”

Christine Lamb, Regional Support Manager at the care home, said: “This activity is a great way for the residents to be involved in events that they normally wouldn’t be a part of.

“The other staff members and I enjoy seeing the happiness that the visit brings to the residents and we always look forward to the visits.”
