The M5 is closed due to a lorry fire
The M5 has been closed following a lorry fire.
The road is closed in both directions between junctions 9 and 11 due to the fire on the hard shoulder.
Gloucestershire Police has but the closure in place and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance.
Smoke in the area is causing hazards and drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
The motorway will be reopened once the fire is under control.
