A CINEMA in Worcester had its windows smashed during attacks on two businesses at the weekend.
The Odeon Cinema had the glass in eight of its front doors smashed, while nearby Shipleys Amusement Arcade also suffered damage to its windows.
Police are now appealing for taxi drivers working in Forgate Street in the early hours of Sunday to come forward if they have any information.
The Odeon had its windows smashed at about 3.20am, while the front window of Shipleys was damaged overnight between 10pm on Saturday and 9.40am on Sunday.
A police spokeswoman said: "Officers would like to hear from any taxi drivers who may have seen the incidents take place or have descriptions of those responsible.
"Equally, if anyone else has any information we would ask them to get in touch as this was mindless behaviour, costly to the businesses concerned."
Anyone with information should call police on 08457 444888, quoting 279/S/130108 for the Odeon incident and 227/S/130108 for the Shipleys incident.
