VISIT Worcestershire's new video aims to help people across the pond struggling to pronounce the name of the county.

There are plenty of videos of people struggling to pronounce the word 'Worcestershire'.

To help people get their tongue around the complicated word, Visit Worcestershire has taken it upon themselves to clear the confusion.

It has created a series of videos called 'How to pronounce Worcestershire: for our American friends'.

According to the video, the correct pronunciation is: 'Wors-Teh-Shur' and members of the public - including a sea lion, called Callum - are seen to have no qualms when pronouncing the word.

The educational video has taken inspiration from the city and features the West Midlands Safari Park, Wyre Forest, Museum of Royal Worcester, Rowley Farm Holidays, Morgan Motors and Worcester Warriors.
