THERE was a special visitor to the four day RHS Spring festival this year.

The Princess Royal dropped in on the festival on the second day on Friday (May 6), presenting an award and chatting with festival-goers.

The RHS tweeted to say that a garden was created to honour the upcoming Platinum Jubilee.

The RHS said: “The Platinum Jubilee Garden at #RHSMalvern has been created to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and will live on after the show as a new permanent garden on the site.

“Look out for Lily of the Valley, one of the Queen's favourite flowers.”
