Teachers' strike - the affected schools

RELEASED by Worcestershire County Council, these are all the schools to be hit by today's strike action.

Members of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) are walking out over a below-inflation pay rise offered by the Government.

The union wants to see an increase of 4.1 per cent, but the Government is offering 2.45 per cent.

It will be the first national stoppage for 22 years and will affect thousands of pupils in Worcestershire alone.

• Burlish Park Primary School - partial closure. Closed classes are 6S, 1M, RW, 4B, 1W, The Nursery & The Communication Centre.
  
• Catshill First School and Nursery - closed.
  
• Charford First School - partial closure. Class 4S will be closed.
  
• Cookley Sebright Primary - partial closure. Closed for Key Satge 2 pupils.
  
• Crown Meadow First School - closed.
  
• Droitwich Spa High - partial closure. Closed to students in years 8, 9 & 10. Open to Students in years 11, 12, & 13.
  
• Elgar Technology College - closed.
  
• Evesham High - partial closure. Closed to students in years 9 & 10. Open to Students in years 11, 12, 13.
  
• Grimley & Holt CE Primary - April 24 is a TED day.
  
• Grove Primary School, Malvern - partial closure - check with school for further information.
  
• Hartlebury CE First - partial closure. Classes opening are Reception and Year 5/6 Mix.
  
• Heronswood Primary - closed.
  
• Kempsey Primary - partial closure. Classes opening are Y 1 / 2, Y3 and Y5.

• Kingsley College - partial closure. The college will remain open for years 11, 12 & 13.
