VAL Jolly took the honours when the Defford-based Arden club staged a ladies race.
She made the handicap tell in her Heron to finish in top spot with Jane Smee, sailing a Laser, although first on the water was pushed into second on handicap.
Third place on handicap by just 15 seconds was Emma Williams racing her Europe for the first time.
Race two was the third in the Arden Series competition and very light winds saw the Enterprises gain control early on.
But it was Niall Campbell and Jane Smee who took the honours as they built up an impressive winning margin.
The ever-popular Heron of David Bryden clawed its way up the handicap and a last-gasp gust of wind allowed him to wrap up a well-earned second place.
Third was the verteran pair of Alan Salerman and Ray Trace (Enterprise), while Keith Stevens (Comet) was fourth and Stuart and Caro-line Stephen (Enterprise) took fifth spot. Sixth place went to David Stephen (Laser), Jolly (Heron) was seventh and Williams (Europe) was in eighth place.
The final races saw better wind conditions and the fleet split into fast and slow handicap. In the fast handicap section, Campbell and Smee had ahorrible start but eventually recovered to take first place.
Stuart and Caroline Stephens (Enterprise) were second, while Salerman and Trace (Enterprise) were third.
