A MAN pushed another man and a woman into the river Severn in Worcester before committing an assault.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened near Quay Street at 12.35pm on Saturday.
After the male victim got out of the water he was assaulted by the first man and another man. The first man then assaulted the woman in the river and threw some of her clothing into the water.
Police said there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident who they wish to speak to, including two men in a boat that the woman was holding onto.

Adrian Locke, 34, of Wych Road, Chawson, did not enter any pleas when he appeared before Worcester's magistrates on Monday.
The case has been adjourned until Monday, May 19. He has been released on conditional bail until that date.
