IT is being reported that a remote-controlled bomb strapped to to an eight-year-old girl has been used to kill a soldier in Iraq.
It is said that four other soldiers were injured in the blast which killed an Iraqi Army captain.
Local authorities have ordered a curfew in the area since the explosion and American troops have started searching for those responsible.
US soldiers have not confirmed that a young girl was involved in the attack, which took place near Youssifiyah, south of the capital, Baghdad.
