A WORCESTER woman has been named as Britain's most natural beauty.

Amanda Hill, 21, was spotted by a scout for Transformulas, which supplies beauty products to the rich and famous, when she visited the Clothes Show in December.

She was one of six women to get through to the final. Visitors to social networking site Facebook voted her the winner and she is now the face of the cosmetic company.

Miss Hill, who is a student at the University of Worcester, said: "They took pictures of hundreds of girls that day then got that down to six. "To be told I had got down to the final two was amazing.

"The other girl was very pretty so I thought she would win. It was a massive surprise when they phoned me to tell me I had won. I am so pleased."

Miss Hill, of St John's, will work closely with the founder of the company Rosalind Chapman to promote skincare regimes to young people.

Ms Chapman said: "I am excited about finding ways to talk to young users and we hope Amanda can help us to do that."

Ms Chapman says the company aims to offer people the chance to improve their appearance without resorting to cosmetic surgery.

Miss Hill, whose course at the university is early childhood studies, said: "I have a passion to be in the beauty business and realise how we appear has be great affect on how we feel as well as how we are seen, so taking care of my appearance and skin is important to me."
