A FESTIVAL in Malvern this weekend saw hundreds of attendees celebrating children's books.

The inaugural Great Malvern Festival of Stories for Children began on Thursday, October 20, ending on Sunday, October 23, at The Priory grounds.

On Saturday, hundreds flocked to the festival where there were lots of events to take part in, including a talk from the illustrator of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, Jonny Duddle.

A large Gazebo was installed where illustrators have been delivering talks during the festival, and Jonny Duddle's was one of the most popular at the festival.
