FAMILIES enjoyed a spectacular display as the fireworks returned with a bang to Sixways Stadium this weekend.
The crowds were wowed by the display as the event which had been in doubt due to Worcester Warriors' financial problems.
County estate agents Nicol and Co helped the event run smoothly, helping support the event throughout.
Staff from the firm, along with players from Droitwich RFC's under-12s team took to the pitch to throw 1,500 rugby stress-balls into the crowd.
Managing director Matt Nicol said: "Everyone is aware of Warriors’ problems at present, but this was the perfect chance to get behind the trending theme among supporters - #together.
"We substituted ‘Sold’ signs for #together on our boards along the driveway so that everyone arriving could get into the spirit straight away.
"We were delighted to see that, for all negative vibes around Warriors at present, over 3,500 turned out to show their support – and the fireworks were great.”
