FIRE crews have been called out to a bus blaze in Stourport this afternoon (Thursday, December 15).

Firefighters are battling the bus fire on Dunley Road, which is now closed in both directions.

Photographs have been shared showing smoke billowing out of a Diamond Bus.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that all passengers are out of the vehicle.

The fire broke out in the engine compartment of the bus, according to the fire service. A hose reel jet is being used to tackle the blaze.

Last week, another incident of a Diamond Bus catching fire happened at nearby Weaver’s Wharf in Kidderminster.

A spokesperson for Diamond Bus said: "Our operations team are looking into what has happened and a full investigation into this and the incident last week will take place".
