PEOPLE in the Malvern Hills district are being offered the chance to find out more about the Post Office closures across the country tomorrow.
Two representatives from the Post Office will be attending Malvern Hills District Council's overview and scrutiny committee meeting on Tuesday at 6pm in the Priory Lodge Hall, Malvern.
They will provide an insight into the Network Change Programme and the process to be followed.
This meeting will also give people the opportunity to comment or ask questions - time permitting.
The list of proposed closures is an ongoing process and still open to consultation, with changes for the Malvern Hills area due to be published on Wednesday, August 27.
Councillor Tom Wells, chairman of the overview and scrutiny committee, said: "Post offices play a vital role within our communities.
"Not only do they offer a range of excellent services, but crucially, they provide a meeting place for interaction within the locality.
"In essence, they are the hub of many of our local communities.
"Our meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the Network Change Programme."
