The annual gathering of women's fellowships in the diocese was held on Thursday, May 15, in St Michael's Church, Upton Warren, and women from both near and far flocked to this ancient church for an afternoon of happy fellowship hosted by the ladies of Upton Warren Fellowship.

The rector, the Rev Roger Antell, first conducted a simple service and was also able to be with us for the following business meeting when representatives of the fellowships present gave their reports on the year's activities.

There followed a buffet tea and we went home with the prospect of another get-together next year when the fellowship at St Godwald's Finstall will be hosts.

At the meeting on Monday, May 19, Sue Pugh presented a programme of fun and laughter which was happily received.

She was thanked also for having given people an afternoon of sheer bliss on Saturday, May 17, when she and Phil held open house with buffet tea to raise funds for church flowers in Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren.

Next meeting is on Monday, June 16, at 7pm, in St Mary de Wyche church for Songs of Praise.
